Climate-Smart Gardening with Andi Ross

Periods of extreme weather are becoming longer and more intense. It is more important than ever to understand one of our most precious natural resources – water. Understanding hydrology will assist us in addressing current and future issues as a homeowner, as a gardener, and as community members. We will explore the watershed in Reading. Rain collection and utilization will be discussed along with soil optimization and plant choices. With this knowledge we can help our gardens get through climate crisis, especially periods of drought!

Andi Ross is an artistic landscape designer, certified organic land-care professional, private garden coach, horticulturalist, oil painter and sought after speaker throughout New England. She speaks at green industry accreditation schools & workshop, New England Grows, The Boston & Portland Flower Shows, botanical gardens, as well as garden clubs & libraries. She is passionate about all things plants, a self-identified plant geek.
