Beads and Stories: Indigenous Jewelry Making Workshop with Thomas Green
Join indigenous artist and Massachusett Tribe Educator/Historian, Thomas Green in an introduction to seed beading for ages 10 and up. In this hands on workshop Green will teach the basics of beading while sharing Massachusett traditions. All materials provided.
This program is generously sponsored by The Friends of the Reading Library. This series is the start of a collaboration between the OESJ, and RPL called Crafting Connections: Indegenous Art, Stories and Heritage.
Face coverings are not required and are welcomed while indoors at the Reading Public Library. Please follow the updated COVID-19 guidelines if you’ve tested positive, been in close contact, or are experiencing new symptoms.
