Plant Lab: Garden Prep and Spring Planting
Were you a Plant Ambassador last summer? Have you got a green thumb? Do you want to give gardening a try? Help us start our spring crop in the Plant Lab on the Patio! We'll plant seedlings, talk about best planting practices, and bring home a bit of the garden with you! We may end early if everything gets planted speedy quick! After helping to get the garden going this season, come back to the library any time, show us your Plant Ambassador Badge and go outside to water the plants or read them a story!
Remember, gardening is messy! Please wear clothing you won't mind getting dirty and be prepared to get your hands dirty!
Please only register gardeners grades 4-6 for this program, grownups are welcome to stay and help out or drop off their young gardeners.
