Poetry Reading with Moira Linehan
Lauded Reading Poet Moira Linehan reads from her latest collections Toward and & Company. Many of the poems in Toward are set in Ireland where Linehan was awarded several writing residencies. & Company is a biography in poems about her maternal grandmother, a dress designer and seamstress in Belle Epoch Paris and then in Boston. Lineham uses Impressionist paintings to imagine the world in which her grandmother lived and worked. She will discuss her writing process as well. Copies of her most recent books are available for sale at Whitelam Books.
