Teen Talks: Anatomy of a Protest Workshop with Wee the People

Teen Talks: Anatomy of a Protest Workshop with Wee the People

During the Anatomy of a Protest workshop, teens will test their knowledge during a game challenging them to match moments from famous social movements to poster board signs highlighting the six basic stages of social change. Led by Francie Latour, racial justice educator, facilitator, children's book author and co-founder of Wee the People. Registration is required.

Wee the People is a Boston-based social justice project that aims to inspire youth to "notice injustice and discover the power of their own voices."

This program is part of the Reclaiming Your Story grant, graciously funded by the Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) Direct Grant Program.

Face coverings are not required but strongly recommended while indoors at the Reading Public Library. Please follow the updated COVID-19 guidelines if you’ve tested positive, been in close contact, or are experiencing new symptoms.
