Therapeutic Program for Adults: Nature Connection

Therapeutic Program for Adults: Nature Connection

Join the Nature Connection for therapeutic and educational nature-based programs. Participants will engage with plants, small animals, natural materials, and expressive arts. Each month, we'll explore natural elements that tie to the season and what is happening in the natural cycle outdoors.

This series of programs is designed for adults ages 22+ with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). They are not drop-off programs; all adult participanats must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Please register for each session separately. The Nature Connection will visit on the 4th Thursday of the month, February through May 2022.

Register using the form below. Indicate how many people will be in your party, and include the contact information for one member of your party, so we can contact you in case of program cancellation due to weather.

Effective Monday, September 20, 2021 face coverings are required for all individuals aged two years and above while indoors at the Reading Public Library except where an individual is unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.
