All About Birds: Birding in Alaska! - Virtual

Join Dave as he shares his 20 day birding experience to Alaska. Register below to receive a Zoom link. You will visit Anchorage, Nome, Denali, Seward Peninsula, St. George in the Pribilof Islands, and Utqiagvik (Barrow)..  The birds are the highlight, but you will also be treated to spectacular scenery, majestic mammals, flowers, and the indigenous communities and the people that inhabit them.

Dave Williams has been birding for more than 40 years and taught middle school science in Reading for 37 years.  He is a graduate of Mass Audubon’s “Birders Certificate Program”, a year- long study of Birds.  He also attended Maine Audubon’s Hog Island Field Ornithology program. Presently, Dave is a volunteer teacher/naturalist at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats sanctuary in Newburyport where he works with school groups and leads bird walks.  Dave is also active with the Ipswich River Watershed Association.  Dave loves to share his passion and enthusiasm for birds with folks.
