Age Well, Be Well: Better Sleep, Better Health - VIRTUAL

Sleep is vital to your physical and emotional health. During challenging times, it can be especially difficult to stop worried thoughts from keeping you awake at night. Join us to learn strategies to get a good night’s sleep and discover stress-relieving breathing exercises to help you fall asleep or fall back to sleep faster. Discover how to feel calmer during the day and sleep more soundly at night.

Janet Fontana educates and inspires people to better manage stress, sleep well and improve their overall health and happiness. Drawing from her experience as a registered nurse, stress management specialist, yoga instructor and certified health coach, Janet has helped thousands of people optimize their health and well-being.

Janet pursued a master’s degree in health education and integrative health practices at Norwich University and trained in mind/body medicine and positive psychology through the Mind-Body Medical Institute and Harvard Medical School. Janet has delivered hundreds of dynamic and interactive programs. People appreciate her relaxed, conversational style and down-to-earth approach to living a healthy lifestyle. 

 

Age Well, Be Well is a series of three programs that focus on keeping healthy as you age, which is graciously funded by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
