Kids Cook!

Join the top chefs from Kids’ Test Kitchen for a fun, hands-on cooking lesson for kids in grades 1-4. During this one-time class, kids will explore new or familiar foods and then they’ll slice, dice, peel, and measure until the dish is complete and ready to eat! At the end of class, the young chefs will receive the main ingredient and the recipe, so that they can show off what they’ve learned at home. Registration is required.

KTK is on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients. Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Please clearly disclose all food allergies and/or dietary restrictions upon registration.

This program is part of the Kids Can! series sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.

Masks are required during Children’s programming for the safety of our youngest patrons who are ineligible for vaccination. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.
