Celebrate the spirit of Halloween with Children's Librarians for a drop-in science event from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Kids in grades 2 and up are welcome to stop in and make something fun and Halloween-y!

We ask that only 20 friends be in the Children's Program Room at any time; if the room is at capacity please wait in the Children's Room until a spot opens up!

The Reading Public Library asks that unvaccinated patrons continue to wear masks during indoor and outdoor library events when they can’t socially distance. For now, masks are required during Children’s programming for the safety of our youngest patrons who are ineligible for vaccination. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.
