Dementia Friends Information Session

Social stigma and lack of public awareness can make life more difficult for those living with dementia and the people who care about them.

Everyone can help and change the way we think, act and talk about dementia. You can make a difference by becoming a Dementia Friend and learning more about dementia and how it affects people in our community. You can find out more about Dementia Friends USA here!

A Dementia Friend participates in a one hour Dementia Friends information session. An information session is not a formal training. You will learn five key messages about dementia and gain a better understanding of what it might be like to live with this disease. At the end of the session, you turn your new awareness of dementia into a practical action.

This Information Session will be lead by a member of The Dementia Friendly Leadership Team. You can learn more about Dememntia Friendly Reading Here.
