Foster Parenting

Find out more about foster parenting at this virtual workshop with the family resource recruiter from the Department of Children and Families. A nurturing, stable home is important to all children—especially those who may have faced neglect or trauma. At any given time there are 6,000-9,000 children in foster care in Massachusetts, representing all ages, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds. Foster parents across Massachusetts provide safe, loving homes at a crucial time in children’s lives. You could change a child’s life for the better!
