DIY Hula Hoop Workshop
Please join us for an outside workshop building your own hula hoop and learning how to use it! Anyone can hula hoop, you just need the right tools. Let's promote healthy bodies and minds while getting outside this summer! Program and supplies provided by Merrimack College McQuade Library Health Science Interns.
Who We Are: We are three Merrimack College Health Science Interns working at the McQuade Library to create and promote health-related programs and displays on campus as well as in the surrounding communities.
This workshop is for hula hoopers going into grades 3-5.
The Reading Public Library asks that unvaccinated patrons continue to wear masks during indoor and outdoor library events when they can’t socially distance. For now, masks are required during Children’s programming for the safety of our youngest patrons who are ineligible for vaccination. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.
