Take-Home-and-Sew-Bags

Take-Home-and-Sew-Bags

Help reduce bag waste in the Reading community and support an Eagle Scout Project! Pick up a kit(s) at the Reading Public Library which includes instructions and fabric to sew a reusable bag. Keep the bag for personal use or return it to the library to help create a collection of bags for the community to borrow! Kits require the use of a sewing machine which is available to borrow through our Library of Things. A great project for an individual, family, or even groups (quilters, service groups, book groups, scout troops, and more!). Kits available everyday while supplies last. Grab one (or more) the next time you stop in at the library!

The Reading Public Library is honored to host this Eagle Scout Project designed by local teen Theo Bester.
