Go Wild Storytime!

Go Wild Storytime!

Join the Children's Librarians for animal-themed stories, songs, and games on the library lawn! Maybe we'll pretend to be lions, hiss like snakes, transform into butterflies, or hunt in the bushes for hidden creatures. Children of all ages and abilites are invited to join the summer fun!

The Reading Public Library asks that unvaccinated patrons continue to wear masks during indoor and outdoor library events when they can’t socially distance. For now, masks are required during Children’s programming for the safety of our youngest patrons who are ineligible for vaccination. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.

"Tails and Tales" is sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
