Vehicle Day

It's the 22nd annual Vehicle Day! Come see all of the amazing vehicles that make Reading out-of-this-world. Stop by the library parking lot to visit cool cars, tough trucks, and excellent emergency vehicles! The event will happen rain or shine.

This program is part of theTails and Tales summer reading program and is sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.

The Reading Public Library asks that unvaccinated patrons continue to wear masks during indoor and outdoor library events when they can’t socially distance. For now, masks are required during Children’s programming for the safety of our youngest patrons who are ineligible for vaccination. Children 2 and under are exempt from face covering requirements. Please stay home if you’ve been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing any of the following new symptoms as listed on the state’s website.
