RPL's Journal Club is for grades 3-5. When you sign up, you will receive a box of supplies to create your own journal. Every Friday, you will receive an email with a journal prompt, a playlist to listen to, book recommendations, and some other activities to watch or do! We encourage that you take 15-20 minutes out of your weekend to complete the prompt or work on something else you're excited about!

The prompts will provide some writing exercises that are to be done freely. This kind of writing is to encourage creativity and playfulness. Writing is not work, and these journals are to encourage freeform writing. Spelling mistakes are allowed, risks are encouraged, and freedom is important. Your journal is your place to be free to be you!

If you would rather your child receive the weekly emails to directly, please include their email address during registration.

A librarian will contact you about picking up your Journal Club supplies once you sign up!
