Rescheduled to April 30th: Wonders of the Night Sky with The Museum of Science

This program has been rescheduled to April 30th @8pm due to weather. We will email registrants directly.

Discover which stars, planets, and other astronomical wonders are visible this evening as we take a tour of the solar system under the guidance of a NASA Solar System Ambassador from the Museum of Science. Join the Reading Public Library for one of our very first, in-person events and learn some useful tips on how you can navigate the night sky from your own backyard. While we will be pointing out things like stars and constellations, which can be seen with the naked eye, you are welcome to bring your own binoculars, telescope, or other equipment to take a closer look!

Registration is required and are individual registrations, so please register accordingly if there is more than one person in your group. COVID protocols will be enforced for all attendees. Rain/Cloud date for this event will be Friday, April 30, 2021.

Not able to attend this program? No worries! The Museum of Science is hosting a virtual night sky viewing at the Library on Thursday, April 15 at 7pm. Click here for event details and registration.
