Reading Rockets: An #ownvoices Parent & Child Book Discussion Group for Grades 5-6

Each month we'll discuss #ownvoices books for kids. This online discussion group is designed for students in grades 5 & 6 and their caregiver; together we'll talk about characters, setting, language, art and much more. WHO is your favorite (or least favorite) character? WHY did they make the choices they did? WHAT would you do if you were in the same situation?

Sign up below with information about both the student(s) and the caregiver(s) who will attend. When you register, you are signing up for 3 wpring session discussions: March 10, April 14, and May 12.

May's title: From the Desk of Zoe Washington by Janae Marks
Copies of the book will be provided to participants.
