POSTPONED: Stamped Book Discussion: All Ages

This event will be rescheduled to a later date

Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism, and You by Jason Reynolds has been on the NYT Bestseller List for 26 weeks (as of 9/24/2020) and had to go into an immediate second printing because of such a high demand after George Floyd's murder on May 25th and the subsequent protests. Are you someone who picked this book up since then? Has it been on your TBR pile? Do you want to discuss it with other people who have read it?

Welcome to Stamped Book Club! Join your RPL librarians for a discussion about Jason Reynolds's young reader's edition.

This discussion is for all ages. Middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults are all welcome.

Books will be provided for participants that need a copy. Please have your library card ready when you sign up, so that we can check the book out to you and have you schedule a pick-up time.

This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent at least an hour prior to the start of the program to the email given at registration. Be sure to check your spam box if the invite does not appear in your inbox.

Can't make it but still want to read the book? Place a hold on Stamped by Reynolds or the original work by Ibram X. Kendi titled Stamped from the Beginning and get them through curbside pickup.
