Virtual She the People: Author Visit with Jen Deaderick

Celebrate Women’s Equality Day with author Jen Deaderick as she takes us on a visual tour of U.S. history with her new book She the People: A Graphic History of Uprisings, Breakdowns, Setbacks, Revolts, and Enduring Hope on the Unfinished Road to Women's Equality.  Clever and dynamic, She the People is informative, entertaining, and a vital reminder that women still aren't fully accepted as equal citizens in America.

Jen Deaderick has written about gender and citizenship for the New York Times, the Huffington Post, Experience Magazine, and Dame Magazine. She also frequently appears on Greater Boston, a news show on WGBH, to discuss feminism and other issues.
