Digital Animation

Create your own short animated films using digital animation software, such as Stykz and OpenToonz!

Stykz makes it easy for beginners by incorporating pre-made figures while OpenToonz allows for more experienced artists to explore the powerful tools used by Studio Ghibli to bring their ideas to life. This class shows students how to animate step-by-step, allowing them to explore their creativity while learning about story-telling, time-management, and the 12 principals of animation. This class is great for all levels of experience.

Taught by our friends from EMPOW Studios, this class is for students in gr. 3-5. Online Registration starts Apr. 25.

Free. Space is limited so Reading residents receive preferred registration.
