Lydia the Comfort Dog & Dog Safety
Meet Lydia! She is a golden retriever who works as a comfort dog. Lydia interacts with people at local churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events, and in disaster situations.
Since not every dog is as perfectly trained as Lydia, you are invited to come and learn about safely interacting with all dogs! And Lydia will also show participants how comfort dogs do their daily work.
This program is brought to you by the Girl Scouts of Reading Cadette Troop 75027 who are working toward their Silver Award. The Cadettes think Lydia is amazing, and we know you will too!
Recommended for school age children. No registration necessary.
