Adult Summer Reading - Book Discussion (al fresco!)

Libraries Rock (our summer theme) and so does Patti Smith.  Join us for a discussion of her first book of prose.
In Just Kids, Patti Smith, the legendary American artist offers a glimpse of her remarkable relationship with photographer Robert Mapplethorpe during the 1960's in New York City.  An honest and moving story of youth and friendship starring a colorful cast of characters that includes Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, Andy Warhol, William Burroughs and the Chelsea Hotel.  Smith brings the same unique, lyrical quality to Just Kids as she has to the rest of her formidable body of work—from her influential 1975 album Horses to her visual art and poetry. Let's go back in time together!
