LGBTQIA+ History Month

October is LGBTQIA+ History Month.  LGBTQIA+ History Month honors and celebrates the history and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community. When the observance was started, it mainly served as a call to action for the movement and its prosperity.  Over the years, LGBTQIA+ History Month has evolved into a national collaborative effort to bring extraordinary figures from the LGBTQIA+ community into the spotlight.
