Flower Pollination and the Bees that Feed the World

Join beekeeper, organic farmer, and research scientist Peter V. Hauschka, Ph.D. for a special presentation to learn:

  • How flowering plants have evolved and the many ways pollination benefits all living organisms;

  • Which species interact with flowers and spread pollen;

  • Why honeybees are so important for pollination, and about their complex biology, communication, and social organization;

  • How current threats to pollinators can be mitigated;

And, learn about honey and its amazing healthful properties (including a tasting, if interested)!
