DIY Paperwhites: Pick up a kit at the Library

Brighten your new year with Paperwhites!

Spring is still weeks away so stop by the library's upper lobby between 2:00-8:00 p.m. to pick up a DIY-kit to grow paperwhites indoors. Each kit includes instructions, bulbs, a jar and growing material.

All you need is a space that receives bright light and few minutes to put the kit together. In 4-6 weeks you’ll enjoy the fragrant white flowers of paperwhites. First come, first serve - quantities are limited.

The program is generously funded by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
