Adaptive Stories & Songs (Ages 3-8)

Adaptive Stories & Songs (Ages 3-8)

This program is designed for children ages 3-8 who are neurodiverse or have developmental/intellectual disabilities, and their siblings and peers. If your child has difficulty with our other storytimes, this program of stories, songs, and activities with visual supports, a steady routine, & a smaller class size might be just what you are looking for. Help your child prepare by reading our Storytime Social Story together in advance.

Registration is required. When you sign up for the January/February session, you are signing up for all 7 dates. We understand sometimes life can throw you a curveball, so attendance at all 7 is not required. If you are signing up more than one child, please fill out the registration form separately for each one.

If you'd like to share additional information about your child(ren), such as topics they find engaging or particular supports or accomodations they may need, please contact the children's room staff at rdgchild@noblenet.org.

This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
