Soap Making for Teens!

Soap Making for Teens!

Come and learn the art of soap making with Kulina Folk Art!

Teens in grades 6-12 will design their own aquarium goldfish.

Each participant will make their own soapy creations using glycerin-based soap and adding colors and scents. The process does not involve traditional soap making techniques, so there is no lye exposure. Once the soap base has cooled slightly, we will add color, embed the goldfish and plants and add cosmetic grade glitter and essential oil (optional). At the end of the workshop each participant will take home their handmade soap, it can be removed from the mold the following day and used right away. Soap is approximately 4.50 oz.
