MBTA Communities & Reading Knowledge Session
The MBTA Communities law requires the 177 municipalities in the Boston area to confirm that they have a zoning district of reasonable size where multifamily housing (3+ units) is zoned for by-right.
Reading does NOT currently comply with the law and we have to revise zoning to meet the new requirements.
