Metalsmithing for Teens!
Teens are welcome to create their own bookmark out of copper!
The workshop consists of learning about the structure of copper and how to create drawings in metal and use letter stamps to create textures and words on their bookmarks. Teens can put their favorite quote, name, or a drawing of their own creation on their copper blanks. The options are endless! A sulphur dip will be used to blacken the recessed areas on the bookmark to make the texture really pop. Each bookmark will have a hole drilled into the top for a string, ribbon, or keyring.
