Concert: The Harper and the Minstrel Present A Wynter Holiday Concert
If the inescapable ubiquity of modern holiday tunes has got you down, come and unwind an hour of your Monday evening with medieval musical magic! The Harper and The Minstrel are Jay and Abby Michaels, a husband and wife musical duo who specialize in historically inspired and passionately performed Medieval, Renaissance, and Celtic music. They sing and play a wide variety of traditional plucked, bowed, hammered, and woodwind instruments including historical harps, recorders, viola da gamba, dulcimers, guitars, wooden flutes, and psaltery. Bid the 21st century adieu, and delight in and evening of ancient tunes from holidays when bells tolled regularly, but never jingled.
