Virtual - The Challenges of Being a Debut Author featuring Chelsea Banning

Virtual - The Challenges of Being a Debut Author featuring Chelsea Banning

The Reading Public Library is excited to partner with the Ashland Public Library and other Massachusetts public libraries for a virtual program, The Challenges of Being a Debut Author.

Debut author (and librarian) Chelsea Banning was very excited to publish her first book, "Of Crown and Legends". But then only 2 people showed up for the book signing. What followed next was a Twitter storm of support from some of the biggest names in publishing when Chelsea posted about the experience. In conversation with debut authors Laura Gao, Brian D. Kennedy, Jean Louise, and XiXi Tian, Chelsea will chat about the challenges and joys of getting your first book out in the world. More information about the authors is available on the Ashland Public Library's website.

Please register at this link and you will receive Zoom information in the confirmation and reminder emails -- make sure to check your spam folder for them, the email will be coming from ashlandprograms@minlib.net.
