Studio 64 Book Club
Looking for a casual book group where you can discuss, engage and laugh with other like-minded readers? The Studio 64 Book Club meets on the third Friday of each month in the Studio Space of the library at 64 Middlesex Avenue. This year, we'll be reading a sampling of genres and writing styles.
This month’s discussion features the novel Everyone Knows Your Mother is a Witch by Rivka Galchen. It's 1618 in Wurttemburg Germany, what would be known as the Thirty Years' War has begun, the plague is afoot, and Johannes Kepler's mum has been accused of witchcraft. "Drawing on real historical documents but infused with the intensity of imagination, sly humor, and intellectual fire for which Rivka Galchen is known, Everyone Knows Your Mother Is a Witch will both provoke and entertain."-- The Publisher.
