Waking Up Your Gardens

Spring is here and it's time to wake up your gardens to a new growing season. Don't let Mother Nature get ahead of you - come learn about all the garden projects you can accomplish now. From planning to pruning, from soil testing to starting seeds, from dividing perennials to digging in compost, Principal Master Gardener, Liz McCarron will share tips and tricks for getting your gardens off to a great start. Whether you grow annuals, perennials, vegetables, or fruits, whether you garden in the ground or in containers, or whether you live vicariously through other people's plants, you are sure to come away with a few good ideas to get growing!  Registration is required. Preference given to Reading residents.  Registration opens on March 7.

Liz McCarron is a member of the Reading Garden Club as well as a Principal Master Gardener and member of the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association.  This program is co-sponsored by the Reading Public Library and the Reading Garden Club.
