Stop-Motion Animation

Do you love to tell stories and make movies? Join our Stop-Motion Animation class, taught by educators from Empow Studios.

Materials like clay and paper are used to create characters, backgrounds, and props. Students work in pairs and depict their stories to show setting, rising action, conflict, and resolution. Once characters and backgrounds are made, students use computers, webcams and animation software to bring their stories to life!

This class is for students in Grades 3-5. Registration is required, and preference is given to Reading residents. Sign up using the form below starting Monday, April 2.

Free, thanks to the support of the Friends of the Reading Public Library!
