Drop-in Creation Station for Artist-in-Residence Program

This fall, our Artist-in-Residence Giles Laroche will share his artwork and lead our community in the creation of a large-scale Town of Reading collage.

Stop by the Studio to help create pieces of this important and unique work of art. There will be supplies and instructions from Giles, as well as a place to drop off your completed pieces. You may be making decorative elements like flowers, trees, and animals, or parts of more complex objects like people or vehicles.

The Drop-in Creation Station will be available during all library open hours, with the exception of when another program is taking place in the room.

As part of his residency, Giles is also offering hands-on workshops for Kids, Teens, and Adults. Plus, all are welcome to stop by the Studio on Saturday, November 4 when he will assemble the collage. Come to observe the piece coming together, or grab some glue and help!
